{03.05.14} Spring Break 2014 Essentials

Ah Spring Break- you’re the first opportunity a lot of us have to show off our un-tanned legs to the sun. The week to put down in the memory books or to apply the “what stays in (fill in the blank) stays in (fill in the blank).” At all ages, we love you & long for you (even after we no longer get to go).

We wanted to share with our darling customers our Employee Spring Break picks! Hopefully this will make your packing a less daunting task.

Employee, Courtney’s Picks (wanna-be Spring-breaker)

She’s our Web/ Marketing Manager and you’ve probably seen her face grace our web, Instagram & other social media sites. Court has a boho flare and her fashion inspiration come from Rachel Zoe, Nicole Richie & Rachel Bilson. Courtney is 5 years out of college, so her Spring break looks more like staying poolside on the weekend (but a girl can dream, right?)

Hey ladies- It’s Court here! I had to majorly edit my selection of clothes i’d take on Spring break 1. because we have so many cute things right now, you’d be reading forever & 2. because my Spring Break is unfortunately fictitious. Here it goes…

1. The perfect swimsuit cover-up.

Hatley Rainforest Ikat Tunic, $54.99

I adore this. I’m on the shorter side, so I would wear this as a cover up and put a slip under it and wear it as a dress as well! It’s always good to have a cute cover up just in case you head up to the bar for lunch & a drink or like to stay in your swimsuit all day like I do!

2. Cannot leave home without your sunnies.

Gold Rim Aviators, $22

Don’t get me wrong, I love my bug-eyed, chic sunglasses. For the beach (or poolside in my reality), I like the classic look of aviators. I’m always in a hat, so aviators fit better underneath. I like to keep my face very protected from the sun. I’m a couple years from the big 3-0, so I’m all about damage prevention. I wish I would have had this mind set when I was in my early twenties- so take note college girlies! Bronzer now is better than wrinkles later!

3.The crop top.

Floral Trapeze Top, $46

Details are everything to me. I’m more likely to buy something if it is very detailed. This top has it. Plus, I always like showing a little more skin on Spring Break (non-provocatively) & this deep back detail is to die for! Wear with cut-off shorts & a cute pair of sandals!

4. After the sun goes down…

Little Miss Thang Romper, $42.99

I love to flirt it up at night. I’ll always choose a romper over a dress anytime I go out. It’s definitely easier to shake your stuff in shorts than a dress & you don’t have to worry about anything riding up or falling out (hopefully). I feel just as sexy in a romper by adding the perfect pair of wedges that gives the illusion of legs for days!

5. Shop till you drop.

From Sea To Shining Sea Tunic, $39.99

AT LEAST one shopping day is a MUST on Spring Break. It’s an all-day-event for me, so comfort trumps fashion…Of course, NEVER enough to ever bum it in sweatpants or t-shirts. My solution is a casual, fun dress! I love everything about our From Sea To Shining Sea Tunic. It’s flirty, comfortable and versatile.

Employee, Grayson’s Picks (high-school Spring-breaker)

She’s our right hand girl at the warehouse & one of our fresh new faces you’ll see modeling our clothes! Grayson is a fashion risk-taker. If the majority is wearing it, Grayson is the minority. She loves trying new & different things! Her fashion inspiration comes from Vanessa Hudgens, AnnaSophia Robb & Kylie Jenner. She’s traveling to London for Spring Break!

Hey everyone it’s Grayson here! As a Spring and Summer lover, I personally cannot WAIT until the weather warms up so I can put away all my sweaters and scarves and bring out all my shorts and cute tops (or in my case this year vests and light jackets for Spring Break)! There’s nothing I love more than being outside on a nice warm day and feeling free and happy! This Spring Break I am lucky to be traveling to different parts of England with my IB English and History class, and below I have listed a few items that would be perfect to come along with me on my journey.

1. Cozy & Practical!

Invest In Me Vest, $34.99

Whether i’m traveling by plane, train, or automobile to and around England, you would most definitely find me wearing a nice quilted vest like this one because it will keep me comfortably warm but not tooooooo toasty, and it is easy to move around in (Not to mention how stylish and cute it is!)

2. Black with a Hint of Sparkle

Ashley Tunic, $59.99

This top would be perfect to wear while i’m out touring different places overseas because I can easily throw on a jacket overtop if it is a little chilly or rainy, or just wear it by itself if the sun is being generous! I tend to gravitate towards black colors anyways because they are slimming & high fashion 🙂

3. A Night on the Town

The Charlestown Dress, $46

When I saw this dress I immediately imagined myself in London wearing it at night with a long black peacoat, tights, and wedges! The detailing in the fabric and the small pleats in the skirt make this dress absolutely ah-dorableee!

4. A Dash of Southern Over the Pond

Trippy Hippie Dress, $44.99

When I first put on this dress I felt like it should already be in my closet! I love the colors and simple silhouette and it makes me feel so free. I feel like my style isn’t naturally very London-esque, so I thought I should bring a little bit of me and my style along with for the ride to show London who Grayson is!

5. Pish-Posh

Victorian Lace Top, $46

When I first laid eyes on this gorgeous top, I felt like it could definitely fit right in with London style. I would pair this with a blazer, some skinnies, and some nice tall boots for a day I wanted to feel a little more dressed up. The high neck and beautiful lace makes me feel like the Queen!

Employee, Catie Beth’s Picks (college Spring-breaker)

She’s our sassiest member of the modeling team and she knows how to work it in front of the camera! Catie Beth describes her style as preppy-chic. Her fashion inspiration comes from Lauren Conrad, Blake Lively as Serena on Gossip Girl & Olivia Palermo! She’s heading to the beach for Spring break!

Hey y’all! It’s your girl Catie Beth and I am so excited because it is that time of the year again…SPRING BREAK! As a college sophomore going through midterm week, this vacation can not come soon enough. I am heading to the beach with some friends, and of course have to bring some of my essential Page 6 faves listed below. 🙂

1. Out & About

Ladder Back Top, $39.99

Our gorgeous new top is the perfect addition to my Spring Break packing list! Being at the beach, something flowy and comfortable is a must. Also, having the back exposed can show off my fresh new suntan 😉

2. Painting the Town Red

Berry Sweet Dress, $46.00

I am always trying to find an excuse to wear our Berry Sweet dress. It is one of my personal favorties and I adore the detailing. Whether its a football tailgate, or a night out to eat near the water with the girls…this dress looks adorable thrown together with cowboy boots, our statement flower necklace, and big bouncy curls!

3. A Bag for Your Bag

Bright Crossbody Bag, $47.00

Nothing says Spring Break to me like bright and fun colors. Bringing a crossbody bag is an essential for me because it makes it a million times easier when going out! Instead of lugging around my Michael Kors loaded with my “must haves”, grabbing a crossbody is more convenient and fun to add to an outfit.

4. Crop It Like It’s Hot

Daisy Crochet Crop Top, $42.00

This girly crop top would be adorable for a beach trip! Throw it on with some coral shorts and sandals and you are good to go! I love how classy it is for a crop top and think you can do so many different things with it to mix up the look.

5. “Sittin’ Pretty In Suntan City”

Tuscan Summer Dress, $44.99

Who doesn’t love a good strapless sundress? (Especially when you’re sunburned…) Dresses are so easy to throw on and perfect in the hot and sunny weather! If you plan on going out to browse around shops and grab a bite to eat, a dress like this would be purrr-fect.
