Friendship bracelets have been all the rage ever since our Elementary School days. Back then, making the normal braided bracelet was super cool. But now there are SO many ways to create interesting patterns in just a few, easy steps!
Today, we are going to teach y’all how to create a fishtail braid friendship bracelet! It’s super easy and very similar to the classic braided bracelet.
What You’ll Need
- Embroidery Thread ( four of your fave colors )
- Tape
- Scissors
Now, let’s get started!
First, you are going to pick out four of your fave colors and cut three long pieces of each. In all you will have 12 pieces of thread. You will then fold them in half {as shown}.
Next, you will go to where they threads are folded and tie a knot {as shown}.
You will then separate the colors to where there are the same amount of colors on both sides.
Now to the braiding part!
You will first take the first color {on the outside} and cross them in the center. {as pictured}
You’ll repeat this step until you are satisfied with the length.
You’ll then tie a knot at the very end of your braid. And now you are complete!
As far as styling your friendship bracelet, we love stacking bracelets with them! Our warehouse/web manager styled it perfectly with two other golden bangles.
We hope you all enjoy our Thursday DIY post.
XOXO,
